An elegant helm constructed of overlapping triangular plates which give it a Turkish or Mongol look. This helm has separate cheek pieces, a barred face cage, and a simple drop back.

Constructed for safety and looks this is a simple reconstruction of a kabuto. The top of this helm is constructed of 6 triangular plates riveted together in a chinese fashion. There is a full back under the laced plates so the helm is SCA legal and the bar grill is attached firmly to the back. The laced plates are removable and the helm is still fully functioning. Further Japanese styling points can be done including crests on the brow.
